來自國外媒體報導，微軟預定於明年第一季推出的 Windows 10 Creators Update 大型改版將為 Windows 10 增加暫停自動更新及遊戲模式功能，暫停自動更新可以讓 Windows 在最多 35 天內不會執行自動更新，但重大安全性更新及 Windows Defender 定義更新不在此限仍會自動執行，遊戲模式則是可以在執行遊戲時將更多的系統資源分配給遊戲程式使用，藉此獲得更好的效能表現。
